Leon B., born 1938

After moving to an elderly apartment complex Leon no longer had access to his fishing equipment. A nurse in the local hospital, where Leon would go for medical treatment, listened closely as he would speak his dream out loud of how much he missed fishing. When asked where he would like to go fishing, he responded: "Anywhere where there is water". With the help of the NH Let's Go Fishing Program, which helps Veterans continue to engage in the sport, and the Granite State Independent Living Center, which provided the handicap van transportation, Ageless Dreamer made Leon's dream come true with a day of fishing.  Chairman of the Board, Marion Cheney(Rotarian), and her husband, Harry orchestrated the dream event which happened on a perfect September day on Bow Lake, Northwood, NH.
